The trials runned in collaboration with the Facultad de Veterinaria of the Universidad de la República Uruguay 🇺🇾 showed that the effects on dry matter intake (DMI), daily gain (DG), feed efficiency (FE) and rumen fermentation of including Anavrin® on the diet of finishing feedlot steers🐂, led to similar results as MONENSIN.
Adding a combination of both additives ( Anavrin® + Monensin) led to a lower DMI and a lower butyrate concentration showing associative positive effects.
