Very interesting article on july Informatore Zootecnico Journal concerning an indipendant research conducted by the Università degli Studi di Sassari ( Prof Pulina , Secchi , Carazu,Lunescu) under the Uniss- Inalca PHD program .

“THREE ADDITIVES TO REDUCE METHANE EMISSION”

Anavrin, Tannins (included in the blend of components of Anavrin) and Bovaer (3-NOP) are the 3 promising additives potentially able to reduce methane emissions in cows.

Conclusions :
“Of the three additives currently available on the market, Bovaer (3-NOP) appears to be the most effective, although its use is limited to lactating and breeding cows.
However, Anavrin , a blend of natural coumpounds is a promising alternative for other species as well.”
